Brené Brown, The Power of Vulnerability

Casting about looking for what to write about I found this talk by Brené Brown.

I groaned at the start, with the quote about nothing being worth study unless it was measurable, then went on to find her expressing so much of the crux of our predicament and talking about it with clarity and a natural authority.

This was the hope behind the TED concept. It’s rarely achieved. This one stands out.

She weaves together so much of what I’ve been plodding through. I find this a wonderful affirmation as well as a great introduction to the realm of my major concerns.

My work is centered on attending to the intersection of perception and creativity. Complexity cannot be reduced to any given certainty. Learning is Central: Sharing our gifts, Working together, Teaching and learning in reciprocity. Entering into shared Inquiry, Maintaining these practices as a way of life. Let’s work together to build practices, strengthen dialogue, and discover and develop community. Let me know how we might work together.
