Disappointment

*

We push disappointment ahead of ourselves
like a bulldozer scraping earth.

*

Whatever attracts us is held at arm’s length.
Destroyed as it comes into reach.

We seek to break from our disappointment.
Instead, all is broken upon our desire.

*

We push disappointment ahead of ourselves
like a bulldozer scraping earth.

*

Desire locked in disappointment.
Desire perverted into destruction.

Aggravated by whatever is whole, unbroken, wherever we find it.
We only see accusation, a taunting reflection of all we lack.

*

We push disappointment ahead of ourselves
like a bulldozer scraping earth.

My work is centered on attending to the intersection of perception and creativity. Complexity cannot be reduced to any given certainty. Learning is Central: Sharing our gifts, Working together, Teaching and learning in reciprocity. Entering into shared Inquiry, Maintaining these practices as a way of life. Let’s work together to build practices, strengthen dialogue, and discover and develop community. Let me know how we might work together.
